Mariusz Wdowczyk has been appointed as the new President of the Management Board of Port Gdańsk Operations Company. Previously, he held positions in companies such as RAFAKO EBUS Sp. z o.o. / ARP e-Vehicles Sp. z o.o. and Energa Elektrownie Ostrołęka Spółka Akcyjna in Ostrołęka.

The new President assumes the position as of June 5, 2023. He is a manager with over 20 years of professional experience, including expertise in business-organizational integration projects (mergers, acquisitions) and the implementation of optimization-restructuring processes. He has been involved in the development and growth of structures and organizations, gaining practical experience in strategy development, investment management, auditing and control, as well as security departments (including IT security).

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, with an ongoing doctoral program. Additionally, he holds a degree in Business Law from the Poznan University of Economics and European Higher School of Law in Warsaw. He possesses a Certificate of Representative and Auditor in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), Quality Management Systems (ISO 9000), and Energy Management Systems (ISO 50001).

For over 30 years, PG Exploitation has been providing services in the field of handling and storage of goods in international trade, between maritime and inland (vessel, barge) and land transportation means (trucks, wagons). It has 8 berths with a total operational length of 5 km, located along the mouth of the Dead Vistula. It has convenient access to the A1 motorway, as well as the S7 and S6 roads, and two railway stations enable efficient goods handling in railway connections as well. It also has an area of 640,000 square meters for storage and warehouse purposes. Last year, it handled 6.9 million tons of cargo.
