We hereby inform that the Supervisory Board of Port Gdański Eksploatacja S.A., following a qualification procedure for the position of President of the Management Board, has appointed Mr. Andrzej Arkadiusz Kuźmicz to the role.
Mr. Andrzej Arkadiusz Kuźmicz is an experienced manager with over 20 years of professional practice in the transport and logistics industry. He will assume his new position on 4 November 2024.
The new President of the Management Board is a graduate of Management and Organization at the Faculty of Management, University of Gdańsk. He also completed postgraduate studies at the University of Warmia and Mazury, where he gained specialist knowledge in the field of agribusiness conditions and organization.
At the beginning of his professional career, he was associated with sales and operational activities, including managerial positions, at JAS-FBG S.A., companies within the PEKAES Capital Group (Chemikals, Eurochem, Spedcont), as well as companies within the POLFROST Capital Group.
Between 2017 and 2018, he served as Managing Director and Member of the Management Board at West Trading, where he was responsible for sales and imported coal distribution. In 2019, he was appointed President of the Management Board of ASAN Polska Sp. z o.o., responsible for supply strategy and sales of solid fuels to wholesale customers in Poland. Since 2023, he has also served as President of the Management Board of ASAN Trade Sp. z o.o., a company operating in logistics consultancy and the sale of solid fuels to the professional energy sector in Poland.
